One Year Anniversary

We celebrated our one year anniversary on March 5th! People say the first year is the hardest, and if this is true then our life together is going to be a breeze!! He is the most loving, supportive, optimistic, loyal and handsome person I know. Its crazy it's only been a year, I feel like I have known and been with him forever... ironic huh, because I do get to be with him FOREVER!

Our Happy Engagement

Wedding Day...

In the most sacred place on earth.

We celebrated that night with a dinner made by yours truly. I would not consider myself to be a Martha Stuart, but I do have the ability when I put forth the effort. Most of my dinners consist of a main dish and thats all. Landon loves salad so he'll make one for himself to eat with dinner if I don't feel like cutting up veggies and washing the lettuce and all that effort. But I thought I had to do something special for our anniversary. So I made stuffed pork loin, potato wedges with seasoned snap peas, a carmelized pecan and strawberry spinach salad and a mint chocolate chip ice-cream pie. (not pictured). It was very simple so if you are looking for a recipe let me know and i'll put it up here. I suprised landon with a decorated table with candles and a self-made flower arrangement and Martinelli's and $1 wine glasses to make it look special.

The delicious meal...

We got to REALLY celebrate in las vegas the following weekend. We were able to stay in a beautiful hotel and enjoy the weekend away together. It was a 5 1/2 hour drive to vegas but it was so nice to just have time to talk to each other. Life is so busy that sometimes we don't take the time to laugh and enjoy one another's company. He really is my best friend and I love singing duets and discussing our opinions on controversial issues. It was a short weekend but we got to do a lot of fun things like play tennis, see the wax museum, go to the MWC championship basketball game (it was supposed to be BYU...), a wonderful dinner and gelato.

Funny pic of my babe, but Brad Pitt looked so real I had to show you!

Jessica Simpson and myself trying to be her...

Lunch in St. George on our way home.

Here's to SEVENTY more years of love and happiness!
Happy Anniversary Babe, I love you with all my heart.

My frustrating Day home...

Most of you know, I live in Provo and drive to Salt Lake every day for school. I am there from7 am to 6 pm. It makes for awfully long days. I usually carpool with a friend and so we get to use the glorious carpool lane that gets us where we need to be in half the time! Well her client canceled yesterday and mine didn't. So I got to drive home without the carpool lane. All I could think about was this clip from Office Space.

This was SO me!

Now you can all laugh at my anxiousness to get home. But in the moment, nothing is more frustrating.

Well Done!!

My little Bro returned from his mission in Chile. For those of you who know Grant, you know what an energetic and hilarious person he is. He is so much fun to be around and his presence was noticeably gone the past two years. Landon had never met him before (which is weird) so my Dad got our family together to greet him when he got home!

I am so proud of him and the struggles and accomplishments that he has done during the past two years! I am so glad he'll be moving to provo soon so we can hang out.

Mom's first hug...

Is this not the cutest thing ever?...

Reece is now the tallest and Grant couldn't believe this bean pole!

Danny and Reece waiting excitedly! haha

All the scurr boys reunited.

Already jumpin at the bit to play basketball!

The kids all together!

Sin City...

Well I'm playing catch up. But hey, better late than never.

Here are some pictures from our amazing trip to the Sin City in December. Landon's hardwork with the football team paid off and we got an all expenses paid trip (we actually made money, without gambling I might add) and it was so much fun!

We got to see Blue Man Group. Landon's first time and he loved it!

Crepes at Paris with our friends! Mmm...
They also took us to see Terry Fator. He was awesome!
