Christmas was full of family, fun and wonderful AZ orange juice and warm weather. We were able to skype with Elder Reece Scurr. Ashton was so gracious to get us matching pajama's... a scurr family first! She is definitely a wonderful addition to the family! The boys were goofy and we had a blast taking cheesy pictures. The tree never looked so packed. But the spirit of family and christmas was the best part of it all. Christmas being on sunday was a wonderful thing! I really enjoyed being able to go to church and celebrate the birth of our savior and count the blessings of life because of Him. I think we should have christmas on Sunday every year... but thats just me. We continued the Scurr tradition with the reading of the nativity and soup at the Giffords. There were enough grandkids this year for them to dress up and act out the nativity just like we used to. Because our family is growing each year, we draw names and get one gift for them. However, Grant surprised us all when he had a present under the tree addressed to everyone. We all thought grant went all out and was being so generous. We soon discovered his what was thought to be generosity was another one of his pranks. He had gone into each person's room and wrapped their own piece of clothing and regifted it. haha we were laughing so hard! We had a delicious breakfast and lunch and because of church, Christmas lasted all day long! It was so fun to be home and spend time with family.
